Accepted scholars will be expected to complete the following:

Participate in a 1-day retreat

Develop individualized plan of study which must include courses in both Artificial Intelligence and Arid Land Agriculture

Register full-time and attain a grade of at least a B in all courses

Participate in ongoing diversity and inclusion training

Work on scientific, technical, and creative presentations and/or publications

Attend workshops and seminars scheduled by AIALA staff and faculty
-
Active participation and attendance of other related activities

Assist with mentoring trainee in future AIALA cohorts
